2010 Tournament
The 2010 Bean Camping Tournament was held on October 23rd in Marin Dies Jr. State Park in East Texas. The competition was demanding as competitors from all over the state of Texas competed in 6 events for 17 and 1/2 hours for the title.
With the 2010 Tournament now in the books, a new name has been added to the list of Champions, Daniel Patrick Bean became the 6th person in campout history to win the title. The 2010 tournament was the largest in history with 18 competitors. Because of the size, several events had to run concurrently. At 1:31am Sunday morning in a game of washers between Danny and 2008 Champ Michael Muhs, the score was tied 15 - 15 when Danny threw a ringer and 1 point to win the game. The tournament was then decided mathematically that Michael, John Bean Sr.; James E. Bean and Jeff Bean were unable to win the tournament regardless of their Darts and Washers finishing places.

The returning competitors were:
James E. Bean - Jeff Bean II - John T. Bean Sr. - David C. Bean - James T. Bean - John T. Bean Jr. - Daniel P. Bean - Shane C. Bean - Jim Bean - Ronald Sigler - Michael S. Muhs -Aaron Lemoine - Chance McShan - Richie Wells.
The newcomers (fodder) to the Tournament were Paul Smith, Grant Jones, Rafael Rojas and Richie Drouillard.
The events were croquet, putt-putt golf, H-O-R-S-E, horseshoes, washers and darts. Each event was a double-elimination style bracket with points awarded based on place finished.
