2015 Tournament 

The 32nd year of The Annual Bean Camping Tournament is officially in the history books as the 2015 campout was held over the weekend of September 11th - 13th. The campout switched locales to the town of Streetman, Tx this year of the banks off the Richland Chambers Reservoir.  

 

2015 saw another year of double-digit attendance as 10 competitors from across the state competed including:

 

James E. Bean - Jeff Bean II - John T. Bean Sr. - David C. Bean - Michael S. Muhs - Daniel P. Bean - James T. Bean - John T. Bean Jr. - Jim Bean  and Chance McShan

 

No fodder was in attendance.

 

While the setup heading into 2015 centered around two Titans (Jeff & James) vying to become the undisputed greatest of all time, attention quickly shifted into a battle of dominant performances from two former champions. From the beginning of the Tournament John Bean Sr. and Daniel Bean took an early lead taking 1st or 2nd in two of Day 1 events. On Saturday, the story continued with Daniel taking 1st in Croquet and John Sr. taking 2nd. Finally as night began to fall Daniel sealed himself a 1st place in washers and guaranteed a 6th place in darts which mathematically determined the Champion of 2015.

As coach John Wooden once said, "Winning takes talent, to repeat takes character." And with the character of a champion Daniel P. Bean earned his second victory in the year 2015.
