The Annual Bean Camping Tournament has been held 38 times over the last 41 years beginning in 1984. There have been 3 "no-shows" in 1985, 1995, & 2006.

The most competitors for a single tournament was in 2010 & 2011 with 18 players, the least was in 1997 with 4 players.

Over 40 competitors have played in at least one tournament, there have been only 8 champions.

The oldest person to compete was John T. Bean Sr. in 2024 at the age of 70, the youngest was at the age of 13.

The oldest person to win was Jeff Bean II at the age of 55 in 2014, the youngest champion was Michael S. Muhs at the age of 21 in 2008.
